About Fovio

Fovio is a digital project for self-discovery

We make practical guides and digital tools, and we're building an app. All of it is here to help you understand your emotional reactions, the patterns in your relationships, your attachment style and the life scripts that keep repeating.

Our job is to make complex psychological ideas clear and usable in real life. Not just to explain what's happening, but to help you see why certain scripts keep coming back, how they affect you and what's actually yours to change.

What we make

Fovio guide «Loving an Avoidant Partner» on a tablet and a phone

Practical guides

Digital PDF guides you work through on your own. The theory comes with exercises, self-observation tools and concrete steps for real situations.

The Fovio app

We're building an app that takes self-discovery deeper and pulls the pieces together. It will help you build a full picture of your patterns, your emotional reactions and the scripts that repeat across different parts of your life.

How we make our materials

  1. The Fovio team builds its materials on published scientific research and academic literature about adult attachment, close relationships, emotional regulation, self-worth and couple dynamics.

  2. We study the research and its findings, then turn them into a clear, practical format: explanations, exercises, questions for self-reflection, self-observation tools and step-by-step practices.

The Fovio editorial policy

Fovio materials are made by the project's editorial team. We turn complex psychological ideas into a clear, practical format, staying true to the original research and never passing educational content off as diagnosis or therapy.

When we prepare our materials, we:

  • draw on published scientific research, academic literature and recognised work in psychology
  • check key claims against primary sources and, where possible, compare findings across several publications
  • keep scientific findings separate from interpretations and practical suggestions
  • don't diagnose anyone and don't decide anyone's psychological «type» from a distance
  • review and update our materials when significant new data appears or an inaccuracy comes to light

If you've spotted a factual inaccuracy, you can write to us at hello@fovio-app.com - we'll look into it and correct it if needed.

Our approach

We don't want to reduce anyone to a single label or «type». For us, attachment style, personality traits and habitual emotional reactions are ways of seeing what keeps repeating, not diagnoses or final verdicts on who you are. So in Fovio materials we try to look at three things:

  • What's happening in a specific situation

  • Which pattern may be repeating

  • How that affects you and the decisions you make

Who we make
Fovio for

  • For people who need more than general advice like «just let it go» or «learn to love yourself».
  • For anyone who wants to understand why the same situations keep coming back, why certain relationships bring up so much anxiety, why it's so hard to set a boundary or to stop waiting for things to change.

We make Fovio for exploring yourself on your own - calmly, without judgement and without promises of quick fixes.

An important boundary

Fovio materials and products are made for education and self-reflection.

They are not psychological diagnosis, psychotherapy, a medical service or a replacement for individual work with a qualified professional.

If what you're going through is seriously affecting your sleep, your eating, your work, your safety or your everyday life, it's important to reach out for professional support.
